and finished machined casting.
DVI's typical project methodology:
- Receive 3D-CAD file or solid model via data
transfer
- Pattern developed using CAD
file
- Modelboard pattern cut on CNC
machining centers
- Mold box built and finished in shop
- Casting poured at local foundry
- Locator systems designed and developed internally
- Casting machined at DVI
- Machined castings inspected
at DVI
- Complete cleaning, assembly, leak testing, painting or coating
(if required)
- Finished part provided to customer
